Peter’s seeming obsession with the dragon is due to 2000 being the Year of the Dragon. Dragon years according to the Chinese astrological calendar are daring and outspoken times and more than a little unpredictable. While in the Far East, dragons are symbols of good luck and health; they also have a fiery side and command lightning and storms. Since dragon tattoos seem to be all the rage among the human set, this dragon sports a tattoo on his right arm that looks suspiciously like the artist. A very brave mouse has left footprints all around the base and takes refuge under the fire-breather’s arm.
